Kim was ranked 55th in the world ahead of the opening. However, she jumped to 35th by winning the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions in the opening game. She briefly dropped to 35th because she did not participate in the Founders Cup, but raised her world ranking to 34th along with Honda LPGA Thailand's joint sixth place.

This is Kim Arim's personal best world ranking.

Nelly Korda of the U.S. topped the list, Gino Thitikul of Thailand ranked second, Lydia Ko of New Zealand ranked third, Yoo Hae-ran of New Zealand ranked seventh and Ko Jin-young of eighth. Honda LPGA Thailand champion Angel Yin of the U.S. jumped five notches to 12th.
